The Spacemakers studio was responsible for the concept, architectural design, interior design, construction management, and decoration of this three-story single-family home in the historic heart of Lisbon.
The client, a foreigner, came with a clear vision and a genuine openness to innovation. The result is a home where each level has its own distinct character: the ground floor features a minimalist open-concept kitchen with an integrated Invisacook, the upper floor includes a terrace and a living area with views of Lisbon, and the lower floor houses a cork-clad suite and a private office.
The project faced demanding technical challenges—from unforeseen issues during demolition to the creation of a bathroom in a closet area—all resolved with precise solutions and without compromising on quality. Wood-look ceramic tile installed piece by piece, Lioz stone on the stairs, natural light amplified by skylights, and meticulously designed artificial lighting complete a home that is cohesive from the details to the whole.
