The Spacemakers studio was responsible for the interior design and decoration of a historic apartment located in one of the most prestigious areas of downtown Lisbon, on Avenida João Crisóstomo.
This spacious five-bedroom home has undergone extensive renovations, while still preserving its original features—the high ceilings and elegant, ornate ceiling designs give the house a unique charm.
With an approach focused on comfort, timeless design, and high-quality materials, the studio has recreated a harmonious and sophisticated interior.
In the living area, the focus was on creating a welcoming atmosphere through the careful selection of fabrics and wallpapers. Notable features include custom-made pieces, such as bookshelves and rugs, which reinforce the space’s identity and highlight the studio’s craftsmanship.
The spacious kitchen, flooded with natural light, was designed to serve as the family’s gathering place during daily meals. One of the standout features is the breakfast bar and herb garden, custom-designed by the studio, complemented by carefully selected decorative lighting and sophisticated wallpaper.
The master suite has been redesigned to include an intimate workspace, combining functionality and comfort. Adjacent to it is a new bathroom clad in Calacatta marble—the open view into the suite and the detail of the curtain add a touch of sophistication that enhances the overall elegance of the space.
