Showroom Love Tiles
Attitude went to the reopening of the Love Tiles and Margres showroom in Lisbon, where we spoke to Ana Proença and Célia Mestre from the Spacemakers studio. Every year Margres invites a different creative team to redo the showroom in order to display the new collections. And they give them carte blanche, “which says a lot about the openness of the brand, who likes to surprise and to be surprised”.
This year’s concept revolves around the idea that during 365 days our experiences unfold between different spaces, which are represented here by the house and the hotel (with its bar and spa). These are conceptual spaces that allow to show that ceramics and marble do not have to be just used as cladding, but “may be a decorative material with aesthetic interest in different contexts”. Besides, “it does not have to be cold either, it may be synonymous with comfort and glamour”.
